My Platform

As a resident and active member of the Oakville community I will work very hard to make sure your concerns are heard. There are a number of areas I have chosen as my focus, and I invite you to get in touch with me to learn more.

My plan is to:

  • actively engage the young people of the ward to get involved in the local politics of their community by introducing a Youth Council
  • address residential parking concerns in areas of high intensity and events by mandating a one side only parking by-law on all secondary streets on a permanent basis
  • focus on safety measures for pedestrians and cyclists through the introduction of a 40 km/hr speed limit on all secondary streets
  • create a partnership between the Bronte BIA, the Town and sponsors to enhance the Canada Day celebration in Bronte
  • build recreation and arts facilities in the north of Oakville
  • facilitate the funding for public transit that will encourage commuters to take the bus to the GO station thus relieving traffic congestion on Bronte Road, Third Line, Dorval, Trafalgar.
  • create a partnership between Oakville Transit and the Halton school boards that will allow high school students to ride for free

If you have any areas of concern or things you believe deserve attention, please fill out my survey so I can learn more: CLICK HERE TO ACCESS SURVEY
